NYLON-66 (Polyamide) SYRINGE FILTERS WITH POLYPROPYLENE HOUSING
• Hydrophilic membrane • high bubbling point
• very high protein binding • resistant to most organic and aqueous solvents
• low level of extractables • non-resistant to acids and aggressive filtration samples
• useful for HPLC and general halogenated solvents • L.E. (Lower Extractable)


PVDF (Polyvinylidene Difluoride) SYRINGE FILTERS WITH POLYPROPYLENE HOUSING
• Hydrophilic membrane • useful for HPLC and general sample filtration
• low level of extractables • broad chemical capability
• low protein binding, ideal for peptide and protein samples• filtration of polar and non-polar solutions with
exception of strong acids, bases and ketones


POLYPROPYLENE SYRINGE FILTERS WITH POLYPROPYLENE HOUSING
• Hydrophilic membrane • high resistance to strong acids, bases and most chemicals
• low level of extractables • filtration of biological samples • non-resistant to chlorinated solvents
• excellent protein recovery • limited resistance with chloroform and DCM


PES (Polyethylsulfone) SYRINGE FILTERS WITH POLYPROPYLENE HOUSING
• Hydrophilic membrane • ideal for strong bases, alcohols, high temperature liquids
• low protein and nucleic acid binding • non-resistant to strong acids, ketones, esters, aromatic
• high flow rates, good throughput volume and halogenated solvents


PTFE (Teflon) SYRINGE FILTERS WITH POLYPROPYLENE HOUSING
• Hydrophobic membrane • resistant to aggressive solvents, strong acids and bases
• very low protein binding and low level • excellent thermal stability of extractables
• ideal for filtration and degassing of solvents •inadequate for aqueous samples unless pre-wetted with alcohol


RC (Regenerated Cellulose) SYRINGE FILTERS WITH POLYPROPYLENE HOUSING
• Hydrophilic membrane • ideal for biological sample filtration, protein recuperation
• very low protein binding and tissue culture media filtration
• compatible with all HPLC solvents • cannot be used with strong acids, chloroform and THF


CA (Cellulose Acetate) SYRINGE FILTERS WITH POLYPROPYLENE HOUSING
• Hydrophilic membrane • lowest protein binding compared to PVDF and PES
• ideal for aqueous base samples, tissue culture • cannot be used with organic solvents media filtration and sensitive
biological samples

• Hydrophilic membrane • high filter capacity and high flow throughput
• low protein retention for sterilizing or clarification of most aqueous and polar media
